Equita Processing And Distribution Partners

One does not become an expert fine coffee brewer overnight. Equita products are imported, processed, packaged and distributed through a network of Canadian companies. This network includes:   -   Nador, our coffee brewer from Quebec city   -   Cupidon from Sainte-Foy for 50g chocolate bars   -   La Sembria from Ottawa for their cocoa imports used       in our hot chocolate mix   -   Transherb from Montreal who packages our teas   -   Greennet from Thailand who packages their own rice Equita products are sold directly to schools or independant food stores while supermarket chains usually go through major food distributors. Our list of partners also includes local micro coffee brewers, regional distributors and coffee machine operators. The Equita team always welcomes proposal to launch new Fair Trade products and distribution initiatives. In 2004, a youth social reinsertion project sold 1000 Equita gifts boxes to business for use as employee xmas gifts. Stay tune for further Fair Trade initiatives.
